Due to the impending Hurricane Irma, the distribution of applications for the Minor Home Repair Program and the Purchase Assistance Program has been canceled. A new distribution date will be announced at a later time.
This program provides assistance up to $50,000 to very low and low income households to correct code violations, make barrier-free modifications, install hurricane protection, address weatherization improvements, promote energy efficiency/conservation and address other minor home repairs to owner-occupied properties in the City.
Assistance is in the form of a 15-year, 0% interest deferred second loan that reverts to a grant if all program conditions are met.
Minor Home Rehabilitation Program is administered by the City of Miramar in conjunction with the City’s consultant, Community Redevelopment Associates of Florida, Inc. (CRA of Florida).
