HAITIAN HERITAGE CELEBRATION 
2nd Annual Candlelight Vigil


 
Join the City of Miramar for a night of remembrance for victims of the Haiti Earthquake on Friday, January 12, 2018, from 7-9 p.m., at the Miramar Cultural Center Theater, 2400 Civic Center Place, Miramar FL 33025.   This FREE event will be hosted by MECCAakaGRIMO and Elizabeth Guerin.   Live music by T-Vice, Eddie Gunter, Inger Hanna Movement, and Tamika J.  Special Guest Speaker,Michel Martelly.

MLK DAY CELEBRATION



Join the City of Miramar as we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day at our 5th Annual Parade & Event on Monday, January 15, 2018.   This FREE event kicks off with a Parade at 11am around Sherman Circle.  The celebration continues at Lakeshore Park from 12pm to 4pm with Music, Guest Speaker, Poetry, Dancing, Kids Zone, Food and Novelty Vendors.   Don’t forget to bring your blanket and chairs.
