Voluntary PreKindergarten Program (VPK)

Voluntary PreKindergarten (VPK) is a free educational program created to prepare every 4 year-old in Florida for kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success.
Eligibility
  • Children must be 4 years old by September 1st of the school-year
Program Hours
  • 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Extended care 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Fees


  • 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., free
  • $100 per week, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Registration: $100 for extended care students only
  • Nonresidents add 20%

  • Free hot nutritional breakfast and lunch are served.  Extended care students are served an afternoon snack.

All forms for the application must be completed and signed. Please refer to the preschool parent handbook regarding program policies and procedures. The VPK parent handbook includes additional policies and procedures that pertain exclusively to the VPK program.

Jump Start to Kindergarten - Summer Camp for VPK Graduates
 
Miramarvels Early Childhood Academy presents “Jump Start to Kindergarten”; this is a fun and educational program created to assist children in the transition from preschool to kindergarten and is designed to keep children learning and engaged over the summer.
