Alex Swindle is a 23 year old singer and musician and a National Grand Champion and 2015 Ultimate Elvis Top Ten World Finalist from Alabama. With ten years of performing as an Elvis Tribute Artist, Alex brings to the stage the thrill and charged atmosphere reminiscent of the young Elvis in his Sun Record days of 1954. A genuine Southern gentleman, Alex presents to his audience a raw talent and compelling charm much like Elvis at the beginning of his career.

 John Mueller as Carl Perkins

John has had a successful professional acting and music career including guest roles on E! Entertainment, Ellen, Lois and Clark, Brisco County Jr. and the film Bloodline which also features two of John’s original songs but his real passion has remained with Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins and rock and roll from the 1950’s. Well known for his very successful show “Winter Dance Party,” the official and estate endorsed tribute to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper, he created “One Night in Memphis,” also known as “A Night to Remember” back in 2012 and it is another smash hit.

Fascinated by the night of December 4th, 1956 when Sun Records Studios had Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley all together for one magical night of rock and roll, John decided to create a tribute to that night and take on the challenge of learning all the classic guitar solos that accompanied the music from these artists. He finds it a great relief to sit back and let “Elvis,” “Jerry Lee,” and “Johnny Cash” do most of the entertaining and concentrate on backing them on guitar.

John is proud to have performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with John Mellencamp, Marshall Crenshaw, Nanci Griffith, and Joe Ely to name a few. Other highlights include a live TV appearance with over 2 million viewers nationwide on the Jerry Lewis Telethon and also performing a live sing-a-long version of "Peggy Sue" with over 48,000 fans at Texas Tech University's halftime show.

Opening Act:

Micah R. Whitley is a singer, songwriter, musician, and speaker who aims to make an impact with every performance opportunity. This was no exception during his performance of “For Forever” in Broadway Idol at the Miramar Cultural Center in July 2017.

Broadway Idol, part of MCC’s inaugural Broadway Festival of South Florida, placed local singers in front of a live audience and three celebrity Theatre Directors: Tony Award-winners Baayork Lee and Gerard Alessandrini, and Carbonell Award-winner Ron Hutchins. Micah was named MCC’s Broadway Idol and took home the top prize, securing a spot opening “One Night in Memphis” on January 4 at 8 PM.

“Broadway Idol was a wonderful opportunity to showcase my skills and gain feedback from industry professionals. However, I will remember the Broadway Idol experience most for having met and enjoyed wonderful and talented people who share a passion for music and theater,” said Micah.

His musical journey began at a very young age, singing with his family around their home community. He has directed, written, and performed during a variety of events from community celebrations, school musicals, church services and national conventions.

Today, Micah serves both as a middle school English teacher at Palmer Trinity School in Palmetto Bay and as Worship Pastor at Kingdom Covenant Church in Homestead. Micah is also a proud Tar Heel alumnus and an avid tennis player.
