Theme: My Culture – My Story

Focus: Writing short stories - participants will talk about their culture, whether its hamburgers and football or soccer and empanadas; traditional stories they've heard or their contemporary experience, and how to use these in their short stories. The workshop will Include a session on performance poetry and discussions on using their own language/slang/patois in their stories.

Participants: Middle and High school students

Presenters: Christine Craig and Malachi Smith



Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation from LBCHC.
