1. Can my child bring food to the program?

No. Meals and snacks served to children must meet specific U.S. Department of Agriculture meal pattern requirements.

2. Are you a Peanut Safe Zone?

Yes. Our child care center is a Peanut Free Zone. All foods eaten at the child care center do not contain peanuts or peanut related products.

3. What if my child has food allergies or special diet?

Accommodations will be made for children with food allergies. A doctor’s note is required. Accommodations can also be made for special diets such as for vegetarian's. Please speak with the Center Supervisor regarding specific arrangements for children with special diets and food allergies.

4. Do you serve pork products?

No. Our programs have chosen pork free menus.

5. How is the Child Care Food Program funded?

This program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is administered in Florida by the Department of Health, Bureau of Child Care Food Programs.

6. Do I have to complete the Meal Application?

Yes. The United States Department of Agriculture and the Florida Department of Health require that each child have a completed Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application on file. Free and Reduced Price Meal Applications will be placed in our files and treated as confidential information.
